Coin-Operated Blog....
Now, I WISH it was that easy. Things have been pretty crazy lately, and I'll give you the quick rundown on why.
Two Tuesdays ago up until the last Tuesday, I was as sick as death. Throwing up anything I tried to digest, fever, you name it I had it. I was in the hospital twice for dehydration where they gave me lovely nausea medication that made everything better for a short amount of time. Finally, last Tuesday it let up and I could get back to being myself again.
Wednesday I was up at 5:30 to get to work at 8. I worked 8-12:30 when I checked my cell phone to find a message from Mom. She said that my grandfather was just being rushed to the hospital. I immediately called her back to see what the problem was but got her voicemail. A mere 45 minutes later, she called me back, clearly upset. My grandfather hadn't made it. She was coming to pick me up from the school and take me home to the family.
I was distraught, upset, and clearly not myself, but I owe a lot of thanks to one man who's stood by me through this miserable month. Rico, hun, you deserve the world. -huggles- Thank you so much for being there for me.
More to come later, once I get back into the swing of things... AGAIN!
